People from my old life look at me as a joke sell out who had lived just about the biggest lie ever.   As foreign exchange student, I feel like it's part of your duty to dispel stereotypes. Especially about Middle Eastern Girls being super submissive or second class citizens. So I've found American boys are actually lovely and modern and often submissive themselves.  Some of the tougher ones try to laugh it off at first but they mostly once they realize I'm serious do behave.
